Kamala Harris is imperfect, but imperfect within normal parameters.
- Mark Patterson, paraphrased from P. J. O’Rourke
If you haven’t yet, vote. Vote like your vote is worth a million dollars. Even if you are not in a so-called “swing state.” Your vote contributes to the tsunami of change. And besides, voting is fun. Vote!
It’s been a year since I published the “Man-ifesto,” and what a year it’s been. It’s one thing to say, “Don’t be a bastard,” and another for certain men to stop, you know, being bastards.
We have seen how persistent and self-centered bastards can be. Taylor Swift was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year, and my God, the bastards were pissed that one of their favorite bastards wasn’t selected instead. This all culminates in Tuesday's election between the Champion of the Bastards, Donald J. Trump, and the hard-working, honest, accomplished, qualified Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris is the only choice.
This election is at its core whether we are okay with the ultimate expression of toxic masculinity – Fascism – or the American Way – Liberal Democracy.
Fascism is not an option. Fascism is the choice of the Ultimate Bastard. “You are with me or against me, and if you are against me, you will be shot.”
Not to mention that Trump is a convicted felon. You either believe in American Jurisprudence (especially for rich white men who can have the best defense money can buy) or not. Imagine the absolute rejection of what America is by thinking, “Yeah, sure, he’s a felon, but not really. Everyone knows everyone is corrupt.” Sorry, he had his day in court and was found guilty by a jury of American citizens. He’s a convicted felon.
Therefore, I endorse Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States.
Obviously.
